Career Counselor Job

AGI is seeking a part-time career counselor to support students and alumni pursuing careers in Graphic Design, Video Editing, and Web Design positions. This career counselor role provides one-on-one career coaching, resume and portfolio support, interview preparation, and job-search guidance to help creatives successfully transition into the workforce. Flexible hours and can work remote, in-person, or hybrid.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized career coaching and job-search guidance
Assist with resumes, portfolios, reels, and case studies
Prepare students for interviews through mock interviews and feedback
Support networking and LinkedIn optimization
Share job leads, freelance opportunities, and internships
Build relationships with employers and industry partners
Track student engagement and placement outcomes
Host or support career workshops

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience in career services, recruiting, or coaching
