Excel Tutorial: Changing the Color of Cells in Excel

You can change the color of cells in Excel to make certain areas of a table stand out or emphasize their content. Follow these steps to change the color of cells:

  1. Click cell D25.
  2. From the Home tab, click the arrow to the right of the Fill Color button to display the color palette.
  3. From Standard Colors, select Orange. Notice that the Fill Color icon now displays the paint color you selected.
  4. The color of cells is changed, allowing you to draw attention to important data.
